Introducing our new Blog on all things comfortable!

The team at Lawson Wood are looking forward to discussing what we do and how we do it. We will be looking into past and present furniture designs and designers (some we are lucky enough to work on/with, others we hope to soon) - discussing design fixtures and some design failures, comparing fabrics and upholstery materials, talking to makers and craftsmen, considering traditional methods verses modern.. and everything/anything inbetween

If you have any thing you want to ask … our research team are looking for suggestions.. We will be delving into the history and ideas behind some of the most influential pieces of furniture, how they are made and why and if they are still made and how.

We want to hear your personal stories - family heirlooms all have a story. Please do get in touch
